Gilford Corporation is a minority-owned General Contracting company with clients in a wide variety of public and private sector industries. Gilford was established in 1984 as Gilford & Chase, a civil engineering firm. In 1995, we changed our focus to General Contracting and our name to Gilford Corporation, and became Small Business Ad. 8(a) certified. We experienced significant growth in the ensuring years and graduated from the SBA 8(a) program in November 2003.
Gilford uses a proven methodology, which results in a consistent, organized, predictable, and process-oriented plans to achieve each project’s objectives. The validity and success of this methodology and project management approach is demonstrated in the over 350 successfully completed projects with an aggregate value of over $400 million (not including joint ventures) that Gilford has completed since its construction inception in 1995. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Project Team Announced
The Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial Foundation recently announced that the Joint Venture of Turner Construction Company, McKissack and McKissack, Gilford Corporation, and Tompkins Builders, Inc. was selected to serve as the Design-Build team for the memorial.
